Taube-loppet - Bohusläns vackraste lopp

Race description

People, running & community on the wonderful Flatön. On August 23, 2025, we will host the Taube Race for the fifth consecutive year, and it will be the best year yet! This year, in addition to music, food, and a folk festival, we offer: 21 km, 10 km, 5 km, a children's race of approximately 400 meters, and new for this year, a combo race of 36 km! That is to say, all races, excluding the children's race, in combination. We have had runners complete the distance in previous years, but now we are formalizing the distance. Regardless of your choice of distance, you are welcome to Bohuslän's most beautiful race on Flatön! The races take place in the stunning Bohuslän archipelago environment in the spirit of Evert Taube. These races are held on beautiful Flatön near Malö ström, just north of Orust in Bohuslän, alongside Evert Taube's celebrated Handelsman Flink, with food and entertainment at Flatö School. There is a car ferry to the island from both the north and south. The race runs across the islands with beaches, forests, and fields along the route. This year, there are only 150 exclusive spots for each race (half-marathon and 10 km) as well as 100 spots for the little Taube race and 25 spots for the combo race. First come, first served.
